I went to the Josh Groban concert tonite (Straight to you tour) and holy amazeballs! It was awesome!!! I love love love Josh Groban, and this was my first time seeing him live and let me say, he is inspiring in so many ways. The level of talent he has is astounding, and he is just so PERSONABLE. He really makes the effort to make everyone in the venue feel like its just him and you there. Not to mention, he’s hilariously funny (check out some of Jimmy Kimmels sketches that he’s done, major lol’s there). I thought I’d show some pics I took before I go to bed! ps. thanks boys for letting me have a nite off – I needed a nite away from the computer

Elew the pianist from America’s Got Talent opened the show. Apparently he left the competition to tour with Groban, which I’m thankful for because he was amazing as well!

I had fifth row tickets, smack dab in the centre of the row so I had amazing seats…and what was great about his show is that he actually had two stages built, so the people in the back could get a good vantage point too! It really was an amazing show, and I’m excited to see him again in the future

Now is a good time to talk about my birthday shiznit while I’m here! So most of you know that my birthday is August 16th, and I will be online on MFC from the moment my birthday begins! I have LOTS of games planned, lots of goodies and giveaways and some fun baking too! I really hope you can come out to celebrate with me, it would mean the world to me Also, Nails has started up a Chip In account for guys who were wanting to spoil me for my birthday. I know there have been alot of guys asking “Ashleigh, what do you want for your birthday this year?” and as usual, I’m like “errrrr I dunno” lol. But finally I’ve figured out something. I’m planning a trip to Toronto on the 17th-18th overnight, and am doing a spa and shopping day with the girls- so if anyone wants to help chip in for that, it would be so so sooo sweet of you. I haven’t done anything for myself for the last couple of birthdays, so this is a great chance for me to take a day to just RELAX and be a pampered princess If you want details on that Chip In dealie, shoot me a message, or message Nails as well.

Well its nearly 5am and I am BEAT. Been a long day of running errands and then going out to see Mr Groban! Hope to see you guys tomorrow! xoxo

I feel the need to try to express my feelings right now, even though its hard to put into words (like I said in my chatroom tonite, there literally ARE no words) but I need and want to express my sincere gratitude to each and every single person who has made this week a great one. I came into this pay period on MFC wanting to hit a certain goal, so that I can pay off a sizeable chunk of my debt (student loans, line of credit, and a few random credit cards). With my recent health issues and continuing tests, many medications and general feeling like crap (to put it bluntly), my doctor is figuring that my stress and anxiety levels are putting a strain on my body. Not surprising, my symptoms started around the time when I was going through a really difficult time that has spawned nothing but more difficult times and stress. I know that I stress too much and have too much on my shoulders at times in my personal and financial life but it is what it is. So with all the recent health issues, I’ve made it a personal goal to pay off my debt in as quick a way that I can…preferably by the fall, worst case scenario, by Christmas.

Anyways, I started this payperiod with a goal, and you guys have FAR exceeded it. Nite after nite, even with my ridiculous token goals that I thought weren’t attainable for a girl like me…you’ve all blown my mind. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart not only for your token support, but also for your emotional support. I know you guys all have my back and all want to see me achieve my goals and be able to go on to do things like go back to school, and achieve my dreams. This debt repayment is the first step to all of that, so thank you in helping me reach my dreams.

I want to give a specific shoutout to a few of the boys who have gone above and beyond with their “HOLY SHITBALLS!” tips.
